Job summary

R-2 Contractors seeks an experienced Utility-Scale Concrete Foreman to lead field crews on concrete foundations for power, renewables, and substations nationwide. You will plan, coordinate, and execute daily operations, supervise crews, coordinate with superintendents, and uphold safety and quality standards while traveling 100% to project sites.

Responsibilities include coordinating formwork, reinforcement, concrete placement, finishing, curing, and meticulous documentation to ensure on-time

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of utility-scale or heavy civil concrete construction experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Concrete Foreman leading field crews.
• Strong knowledge of concrete construction methods, equipment, and quality standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily concrete construction activities for utility-scale foundation projects.
• Plan daily work assignments and coordinate crews, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
• Read and interpret project drawings, specifications, layout information, and construction documents.
• Coordinate reinforcing steel installation, formwork, anchor bolt assemblies, embedded items, concrete placement, finishing, and curing activities.
• Ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor daily production, manpower, equipment utilization, and project progress.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while promoting a strong safety culture.
