Job summary

R-2 Contractors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Utility-Scale Concrete Superintendent to lead field operations on nationwide projects across the United States.

You will safely plan, coordinate, and oversee concrete foundations, formwork, reinforcement, and installations, while driving quality and safety. You will develop field leaders, supervise crews, and partner with Project Managers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of critical power infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of structural concrete construction experience, including utility-scale power, renewable energy, heavy civil, or infrastructure projects.
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading structural concrete construction as a Superintendent or Senior Superintendent.
• Extensive knowledge of flatwork, spread footings, pedestals, equipment foundations, short wall foundations, reinforcing steel, formwork, anchor bolt assemblies, embedded items, concrete placement, finishing, curing, and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Lead all field operations for utility-scale structural concrete foundation construction projects.
• Plan and coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and production schedules.
• Supervise Foremen, craft personnel, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure safe and productive project execution.
• Oversee reinforcing steel installation, formwork, anchor bolt assemblies, embedded items, concrete placement, finishing, curing, and quality control activities.
• Ensure foundations are constructed safely, accurately, and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
