Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and advanced repairs on light to heavy-duty trucks in a mobile setting. You will diagnose complex issues, triage repairs, and act as a lead on-site for technicians and customers.

You will manage parts and documentation, stay compliant with DOT/EPA regulations, and maintain safety practices while delivering high-quality service with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with related field experience.
• At least 5 years in a related field; 7 years acceptable with different education.
• At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
• DOT/FMCSA regulations knowledge and DOT medical card requirement.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections, PMs, and repairs in a mobile/field setting.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems on trucks.
• Document findings and parts used in Repair Orders via iOS TRAIT app.
• Coordinate with management for approvals and parts as needed.
