Job summary

Cox Fleet in the United States is seeking a Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and complex diagnostics in a mobile/field setting.

You will work on light to heavy trucks, handle electrical and mechanical repairs, and act as a lead on jobsites with strong customer interaction and safety compliance. Excellent pay and weekly/fringe benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with related field experience.
• ASE certifications preferred and required within 18 months.
• DOT/FMCSA regulations compliance and OSHA/EPA/DOT knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs in mobile/field settings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine, and transmission systems on trucks.
• Test and road-test vehicles, document findings, and manage RO data on TRAIT app.
• Maintain vehicle and inventory, communicate estimates and approvals with management.
