Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform licensed DOT inspections, PMs, and complex repairs on a range of trucks in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues, document findings, and work with customers and management to ensure high-quality service.

The role requires adherence to DOT/OSHA regulations, independent scheduling, and strong diagnostic skills. A 100% travel role with a $4,000 new hire bonus is offered.

Competenze

• HS diploma or GED with 3 years related field experience or equivalent
• At least 3 years with refrigerated equipment
• DOT and safety regulations knowledge

Mansioni

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environments
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine, and transmission systems on trucks
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and drivability
• Manage parts inventory and reconcile on service truck; document RO using TRAIT app
• Complete DOT forms and other required documentation promptly
• Communicate with customers and internal teams to obtain approvals and gather PO numbers
