Job summary

Leidos in Reston, VA seeks a Principal Mission Engineering Analyst to develop multi-domain simulations using AFSIM for DoD programs. Lead model development and collaboration with SMEs and engineers to deliver advanced mission solutions.

Responsibilities include evaluating models, applying OO techniques, sharing results, and staying current with AF SIM capabilities. Requires DoD experience and TS clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics or CS with 12+ years of relevant experience.
• 7+ years in modeling, simulation, and analysis, preferably using AFSIM.
• Proficiency in Python or MATLAB with DoD program experience.
• US citizenship with a Top Secret clearance or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop models of multi-domain systems in mission-level simulations using AF SIM.
• Create models of space, air, maritime, and ground systems and evaluate them.
• Apply OO programming to maximize M&S scalability and extensibility.
• Analyze simulation results to communicate effectiveness for real-world use.
• Collaborate with SMEs, software engineers, and analysts across Leidos.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards.
• Document development processes, results, and best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest AF SIM capabilities.
