Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced Mechanical-Electrical Superintendent for the Toledo division to lead and coordinate MEP trades on a Lima, OH project. You will oversee safety, scheduling, quality and budget adherence while supervising engineers, interns, and trade labor on site.

The role requires strong knowledge of MEP systems, field coordination with engineers and architects, and hands-on leadership to drive project milestones from preconstruction through turnover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or at least four years of formal engineering or architectural experience and a minimum of six years of mechanical/electrical/plumbing construction experience.
• Knowledge of building construction, means and methods, scheduling and cost control procedures, general contract, general conditions, subcontract documents, drawings and specifications.
• Specific knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical Systems.
• Thorough knowledge of building information modeling and its use in coordination of the Mechanical and Electrical systems and other project systems.
• Proven written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct and coordinate the work of subcontractors and Turner trade labor for MEPS systems.
• Ensure safety, schedule delivery, quality of work, and adherence to budget.
• Supervise Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, Interns and trade labor.
• Develop schedules and sequencing; implement recovery strategies to maintain schedule and budget.
• Coordinate with engineers/architects on mechanical and electrical system layouts and 3D model coordination.
• Lead inspections, startup, commissioning, and turnover for system handover.
