Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• 2–3 years of Medical Assisting experience.
• MA Certificate, or an Associate Degree in Medical Assisting, EMT, PCT, nursing student with one clinical rotation, home health aide, or PA program candidates.
• Strong customer and interpersonal relationships with patients, families, staff and providers.
• Ability to train, mentor and guide others.
• Experience with computer systems; EPIC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the team.
• Provide training, mentoring, and day-to-day clinical support.
• Maintain efficient patient flow and office operations.
• Record patient data in Epic and verify information.
• Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, injections and assist procedures.
• Coordinate follow-up care and referrals.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and infection-prevention guidelines.
