Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Medical Assistant experience or an associate’s degree or higher in lieu of MA experience.
• BLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• Proficient with EMR systems and clinical protocols.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and patient-service focus.

Responsibilities

• Perform MA I/MA II responsibilities including patient rooming, clinical support, documentation and care coordination.
• Mentor and preceptor to Medical Assistants and student externs.
• Serve as a team resource on clinical workflows, EMR use, and department standards.
• Monitor daily patient flow and address operational challenges.
• Support onboarding, training and reinforce positive patient experience and safety protocols.
