Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a Medical Assistant - Team Lead to supervise a team of Medical Assistants in the Primary Care Clinic. You will coordinate staffing, monitor patient flow, and ensure quality patient care in alignment with hospital policies.

The role requires leadership abilities, mentorship, and collaboration with nursing and providers to maintain efficient clinic operations and high standards of care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED certificate is required.
• Successful completion of a medical assistant training program or 3 years work experience as a Medical Assistant.
• An associate's degree in a related field is preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Foster a positive work environment promoting teamwork and respect.
• Supervise and lead a team of Medical Assistants with optimal workflow.
• Coordinate assignments and breaks to balance workload.
• Provide coaching and feedback to MA staff.
• Participate in clinic projects to support clinic function and patient care.
• Staff supervision across all clinic sessions including evenings and Saturdays.
