Job summary

The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Lead Medical Assistant to guide the MA team and oversee clinical operations at the onsite site.

You will serve as a role model, coordinate new clinical initiatives, and act as a liaison among clinic staff, the Practice Manager, and physicians to improve efficiency. Responsibilities include supervising the MA team, training and mentoring, coordinating patient flow, and assisting with intake, vital signs, and examinations.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Experience: 3-5 years as a medical assistant with clinical and administrative tasks.
• Licenses: CMA preferred; BLS acceptable; data conversion credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight for quality control programs.
• Lead MA team with training, mentoring, and performance guidance.
• Assign tasks to team members and optimize workload distribution.
• Coordinate patient flow and ensure timely delivery of care.
• Assist with patient intake, vital signs, and exam prep.
• Precept new hires and supervise clinic support staff.
• Contribute to performance evaluations input.
