Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - data conversion required; BLS preferred.
• Experience as a medical assistant in clinical/admin tasks.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and medical office software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in complex office-based procedures and provide clinical oversight for quality control programs.
• Lead the medical assisting team including training, mentoring, and performance guidance.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members to ensure proper workload distribution.
• Foster a positive, collaborative environment and promote teamwork.
• Coordinate patient flow to ensure timely care delivery.
• Assist with patient intake including history, vitals, and prep for exam.
• Participate in interviews for new MAs and serve as preceptor for new hires.
• Assist with competency assessments and provide input on evaluations.
