Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant Training Program required.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in ambulatory or outpatient healthcare.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).
• Care coordination experience preferred.
• Lead/Senior Medical Assistant or trainer experience preferred.
• Experience supporting quality improvement initiatives and clinical workflow optimization.
• Experience supporting virtual care and remote patient workflows.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily workflows, patient flow, coverage needs, and virtual care support for Medical Assistants.
• Provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, onboarding, and training reinforcement.
• Escalate performance, attendance, conduct, staffing, and complex concerns to the Practice Manager.
• Serve as primary clinical and virtual care resource for Medical Assistants and reinforce standardized workflows.
• Support quality, compliance, and operational improvement activities including audits.
• Perform direct patient care and clinical support duties per protocol.
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and clinic readiness to ensure safety and quality care.
