Job summary

Alignment Health onsite is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant Lead to oversee clinic operations and patient flow on the floor, with additional duties such as reporting, inventory management, and staff training. Responsibilities include training new medical assistants, managing check-in/out, eligibility verification, and scheduling, plus care coordination referrals and chronic disease enrollments.

CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician office.
• MA Certification or LVN/LPN Certification required.
• CPR/First Aid Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead MA responsibilities: training new medical assistants and guiding the team.
• Oversee day-to-day clinic operations and patient flow from check-in to checkout.
• Complete weekly/monthly reports (infection control logs, admin reports).
• Manage supply inventory for medical and office supplies.
• Act as point of contact for team in manager's absence.
• Support care coordination with referrals and disease management enrollments.
