CloseKnit is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support clinicians in a busy, in-person clinical environment in Silver Spring, MD. The role involves clinical and administrative duties, including patient intake, vitals, injections, venipuncture, lab prep, and exam room upkeep.

This position requires 2+ years MA experience, accredited MA training, and active certifications (CCMA/CMA/RMA) with BLS/CPR. Flexible schedules may include weekends and multi-location coverage.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program and active certification.
• 2+ years Medical Assistant experience with EMR experience preferred.
• Certifications: CCMA, CMA, or RMA; BLS/CPR current.

Responsabilités

• Assist clinicians with exams and in-office procedures.
• Take vitals and medical histories; administer injections as directed.
• Perform venipuncture and basic lab tasks; prepare specimens for testing.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and compliant documentation in EHR.
