Job summary

Redpath Mining Inc. seeks a Mechanical Supervisor to oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment in our mining operations.

You will manage a team of mechanics and fabricators, coordinating tasks to optimize uptime and safety, while ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies. The role emphasizes leadership, mentorship, and development within a safe, inclusive environment, with a focus on delivering reliable, high-performance equipment and processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mining/mechanical/electrical engineering or related field preferred.
• Mechanical maintenance experience 5–10 years preferred.
• Supervisory experience 2–5 years preferred.
• Knowledge of the mining industry underground environment.
• Ability to read and understand engineering prints (civil/structural/rock excavation).
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical equipment (crushers, conveyors, pumps, heavy machinery).
• Coordinate with electrical, operations, and safety teams to optimize uptime.
• Lead, mentor, and schedule a team of mechanics and fabricators.
• Ensure work complies with safety regulations and environmental policies.
• Maintain documentation of inspections, maintenance, and safety checks.
