Job summary

The Redpath Group is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to oversee all electrical installations, maintenance, and repair activities across our mining site. The role leads a team of electricians, ensuring compliance with safety standards and electrical codes while driving continuous improvement for reliability and efficiency.

You will coordinate preventive maintenance, mentor staff, and collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to support production goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field preferred.
• Licensed Electrician status and extensive electrical experience required.
• Experience supervising electricians in a mining or heavy industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of electricians across the site.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
• Ensure all work complies with HSE regulations and site procedures.
• Inspect systems for hazards and performance gaps; schedule preventive maintenance.
• Train and mentor team members on technical and safety practices.
• Maintain documentation of inspections, repairs, and safety checks.
