Job summary

Staples, Inc. in Lawrence, MA is seeking a Lead Material Handling Equipment Operator to mentor teammates and keep the warehouse moving safely. You’ll operate forklifts and other equipment to move product, while upholding our safety culture and high productivity.

This role requires 12+ months warehouse experience, ability to lift up to 100 pounds, pass a drug screen, and wear safety shoes. Full-time with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 12+ months related experience in a warehouse environment or equivalent training/education.
• Ability to pass a drug screen where legally permissible.
• For Full-Time, overtime hours may be required based on business need.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Must wear safety composite work shoes.
• Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor warehouse staff and fill in for supervisors.
• Operate forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks to move product.
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and follow safety procedures.
• Contribute to Staples Supply Chain's success by timely, accurate product movement.
