Job summary

Orion Marine Group is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead marine construction projects in Houston, TX. You will oversee field crews, self-perform work, and subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The role requires hands-on field leadership, coordination with project teams, and accountability for schedules, costs, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Eight years or more of marine construction supervisory experience.
• Experience overseeing self-perform crews and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of pile driving, cranes, welding, carpentry, and related trades.
• Strong safety culture and ability to enforce safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute marine projects with Project Manager and Foremen.
• Coordinate objectives with General Foremen and subcontractors.
• Secure equipment and manage project scheduling and budgets.
• Attend pre-construction and weekly progress meetings.
• Inspect work for quality and ensure compliance with standards.
• Maintain inventory and enforce safety barricades and signage.
