Job summary

Orion is seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our Marine Construction team in Houston, Texas. This role provides hands-on field leadership for complex marine and heavy civil projects, overseeing crews, subcontractors, equipment, scheduling, quality, and day-to-day execution.

Safety is central to our culture, with the Superintendent setting high field standards and ensuring every employee returns home safely. You will work with a diverse team to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years of marine construction supervisory experience.
• Experience with pile driving, crane operations, welding, carpentry, sandblasting, pipefitting.
• Excellent communication skills and leadership abilities.
• Ability to enforce safety policies and manage budgets and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute marine projects in coordination with Project Manager.
• Coordinate objectives with General Foremen and subcontractors.
• Ensure equipment and materials are secured and available for work.
• Attend pre-construction meetings to review scope and schedule.
• Monitor schedule and costs; report risks and issues to management.
• Maintain safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on site.
