Job summary

Orion, a leading self-perform marine contractor, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex marine and heavy civil projects. You will oversee planning, execution, and financial performance, coordinating with field leadership and stakeholders to deliver on time and within budget.

This role requires travel to project locations across the Gulf Coast region and a strong commitment to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Teamwork, and Integrity as outlined in Orion's core values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline required.
• Minimum of 8 years of Project Management experience within heavy civil, marine construction, transportation, industrial or infrastructure construction.
• Marine construction experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall project leadership to ensure the successful execution and profitability of assigned marine construction projects.
• Partner with Superintendents, Foremen, Project Engineers, Estimators, and field leadership to safely deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
• Develop competitive bid proposals and estimates for marine construction and heavy civil projects.
• Prepare cost estimates including labor, equipment, subcontractors, materials, and specialty marine resources.
• Participate in contract negotiations, change order preparation, and client communications.
• Procure project materials, subcontractors, equipment, and services.
• Interpret project drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts and production plans.
