Job summary

Orion is seeking a Senior Project Engineer – Marine Construction to provide project engineering and field support for marine and heavy civil projects. You will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field crews to ensure projects are executed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

You will assist with cost tracking, procurement, estimating support, and coordination of self-perform activities while developing toward Assistant Project Manager responsibilities on complex

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline with 5+ years of construction experience.
• Experience in marine construction, heavy civil construction, or self-perform environments preferred.
• Previous internship or co-op in marine construction is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support successful execution of marine and heavy civil projects with the Project Management Team.
• Monitor and track project costs for labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and services.
• Develop bid packages and scopes of work for subcontractors; coordinate proposals and procurement.
• Interface with field teams and stakeholders; support schedules, RFIs, submittals, and closeout.
