Job summary

Stellantis NV in Kokomo, Indiana seeks a Manufacturing Electrical Engineer - UPE (Assembly) to lead NA powertrain battery tray/frame, casting, components, engine and transmission programs. You will guide an engineering team to develop and launch processes meeting safety, quality, delivery and cost objectives for NM, NNM and adaptation programs.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking and cross-functional collaboration to drive standardization, SIS deployment and plant readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology; five years of technical/engineering experience in automotive manufacturing.
• Strong oral, written, presentation and organizational skills.
• Ability to translate technical data into executive summaries for presentation.
• Ability to analyze, interpret and present data clearly at all levels of the company.
• Willingness to travel 21%-40%.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments for process changes and related investment requirements for cost studies.
• Oversee engineering scope, RFQs, sourcing, and design, manufacturing, and installation of facilities and equipment.
• Manage and prioritize NM/NNM powertrain program requests and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
• Lead NM program facilities aspects including site preparation and machine installation.
• Drive SIS deployment and use of advanced SIS tools; guide root-cause problem solving.
