Job summary

Stellantis NV in Kokomo, IN is seeking an UPE Engineering Group Lead to guide the Manufacturing Engineering group for powertrain/propulsion programs. You will direct a team to develop and launch processes that meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets across NM, NNM, and adaptation programs.

Responsibilities include overseeing RFQs, equipment design and installation, and leading cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, on-budget program delivery while implementing advanced SIS methods

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technical equivalent.
• Minimum five years' manufacturing experience.
• Minimum three years' experience in program management or multi-tasking environment.
• Must be able to interact with all levels of the organization.
• Strong oral, written, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead assessment of process changes and related investment requirements for cost studies.
• Oversee engineering scope, RFQs, sourcing, evaluations, design, and installation of manufacturing equipment.
• Manage NM and NNM powertrain program facilities, site prep, and machine installation.
• Lead teams to implement SIS and deploy SPW tools and root-cause problem solving techniques.
• Develop and improve manufacturing engineering process and equipment standards.
