Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician in Lake Park, FL. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general systems to keep apartment homes safe and comfortable.

You will oversee maintenance staff, ensure timely repairs, and support on-call coverage while upholding high safety and quality standards. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career growth within a large housing platform.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general maintenance work.
• Valid driver’s license.
• HVAC (CFC certifications required or willingness to learn).
• Ability to participate in an on‑call schedule in rotation with the team.
• Ability to communicate with residents and team members to provide customer service.
• Ability to read and understand policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
• Knowledge of SDS, chemicals handling, and PPE usage.
• Knowledge of paint types and painting tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances and related systems.
• Create and organize work orders; complete repairs per standards in a timely manner.
• Ensure vacant apartments and garages are rent-ready with turnkey work as needed.
• Train, mentor and oversee Maintenance Technicians I and II.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on community assets.
• Inspect grounds and buildings daily to identify maintenance needs.
• Maintain safety culture by following Vivmark policies and procedures.
• Perform hot works (brazing, soldering, welding) per Vivmark standards.
