Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to impact apartment living through expert diagnostics, repairs, and preventative care. Lead the maintenance team, mentor Technicians I and II, and ensure timely service requests across communities.

Role requires 3+ years in maintenance, HVAC/Plumbing/Electrical expertise, valid license, and on-call flexibility. Vivmark offers housing discounts and reimbursement benefits along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience including HVAC, plumbing and electrical work.
• Valid driver's license.
• HVAC (CFC certifications) or willingness to learn.
• Ability to work on-call rotation with the team.
• Strong communication with residents and team members.
• Ability to read policies, SDS and safety procedures.
• Knowledge of PPE and chemical handling safety.
• Understanding of emergency systems and painting tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances and related systems.
• Assist with organizing and completing work orders promptly.
• Ensure vacant homes and garages are rent-ready with turnkey work.
• Train and supervise Maintenance Technicians I and II.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) and safety checks.
• Inspect grounds and buildings daily for maintenance needs.
• Maintain a safe incident-free work culture per company policies.
• Handle hot works (brazing, soldering, welding) per standards.
