Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Lead Maintenance professional to oversee property maintenance under the Community Manager. You will perform resident apartment repairs, ensure unit readiness for rent, and supervise subcontractors as needed.

Requires at least two years in apartment maintenance or a related trade, English fluency, and EPA certification. Valid driver's license and basic tools are required; Spanish is a plus. On-site role with potential travel within metro areas.

Qualifications

• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• EPA refrigerant certification required.
• Own a basic set of hand tools.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests within 24 hours.
• Replace filters and clean air conditioning vents.
• Perform HVAC repairs as needed.
• Conduct light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting tasks.
• Take part in make-ready prep of apartments prior to occupancy.
• Supervise subcontractors and coordinate with management.
• Maintain records for preventive maintenance, inventory, and work orders.
• Be on-call for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
