Job summary

Vivmark Residential seeks a Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee maintenance operations across apartment communities. You will diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems, while routing and completing work orders promptly to keep residents comfortable and safe.

You will train and supervise technicians, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure vacant units are move-in ready. A strong safety ethic and on-call flexibility are required for this key role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
• Valid driver's license and HVAC (CFC) certification or willingness to learn.
• Ability to work on-call in rotation and communicate with residents.
• Read and follow policies, SDS, and PPE requirements for safety.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, and related systems.
• Assist with creating and organizing work orders; complete repairs timely.
• Ensure vacant homes and garages are rent-ready with turnkey work when needed.
• Train and oversee Maintenance Tech I/II on assigned tasks.
• Conduct apartment Preventative Maintenance (PM).
• Inspect grounds and buildings daily to identify needs.
• Support safety culture and perform hot works as required.
