Job summary

Vivmark Residential in Brooklyn, NY seeks a Lead Maintenance Technician to diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general maintenance issues, ensuring safe, rent-ready homes and clean common areas. You will mentor junior techs, manage work orders, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include 3+ years of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and HVAC/CFC certification.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license.
• HVAC/CFC certification required or willingness to learn.
• Ability to work on-call in rotation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and major appliances, and perform carpentry, painting, and other maintenance tasks.
• Assist with creating and organizing work orders and complete repairs promptly.
• Ensure vacant apartment homes and garages are rent-ready with turnkey work.
• Mentor and oversee Maintenance Technicians I and II; conduct preventative maintenance.
