The role requires 2-3 years of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to participate in an on-call rotation with the team. Strong communication with residents and colleagues is essential.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of maintenance experience, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance work.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to work on-call in rotation with the team each month.
• Ability to read and understand policies, procedures, and safety data sheets.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs problems in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, emergency systems, and more.
• Completes service requests and repairs according to standards and timelines.
• Ensures vacant apartments are rent-ready in a timely manner; performs turnkey work as needed.
• Conducts preventative maintenance on apartment homes.
• Assists in painting interior and exterior surfaces.
• Maintains safety culture by following Vivmark policies and reporting hazards.
• Performs hot works (brazing, soldering, welding) per standards.
