Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician in Brooklyn, NY to maintain apartment homes and deliver exceptional living experiences. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other systems to keep community facilities in top condition.

In this full-time position, you will handle service requests, perform preventative maintenance, and help ensure that vacant units are rent-ready in a timely fashion.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of maintenance experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general upkeep.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to work on-call rotations as part of the team.
• Ability to communicate with residents and team members effectively.
• Familiarity with safety policies, SDS sheets, PPE use, and hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, and related systems.
• Completes service requests and repairs to company standards in a timely manner.
• Ensures vacant homes are rent-ready promptly; performs turnkey work as needed.
• Performs preventative maintenance on community assets.
• Assists in interior and exterior painting tasks.
• Maintains safety culture by following Vivmark policies and reporting hazards.
