Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee the safety, comfort, and functionality of our properties in Brooklyn. You will diagnose problems, perform repairs, and mentor Maintenance Technicians I and II to ensure timely service completion.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance; a valid driver’s license; and can train others.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience including HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, and General Maintenance work.
• A valid driver’s license.
• HVAC (CFC certifications required or willingness to learn).
• Ability to accommodate an on-call schedule in rotation with the team.
• Ability to read and understand policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, and other systems.
• Assist with creating and organizing work orders and complete repairs in a timely manner.
• Ensure vacant apartments and garages are rent-ready, including turnkey tasks.
• Mentor and oversee Maintenance Technicians I and II.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and inspect grounds daily.
