Job summary

TAM Residential in the United States is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to safeguard the safety, functionality, and curb appeal of our multifamily communities. You will oversee maintenance operations, perform repairs, and coordinate emergency responses to keep apartments, amenities, and common areas in excellent condition.

This role requires hands-on technical expertise, leadership to train staff, and a commitment to resident service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of apartment maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Ability to read technical manuals and safety instructions.
• Proven leadership and training capabilities.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations and respond to resident service requests.
• Perform plumbing, electrical, painting, and appliance repairs.
• Lead and train maintenance staff and porters.
• Ensure safety standards and chemical storage compliance.
• Inspect property systems and prepare vacant units for move-in.
• Travel to other TAM communities as needed.
• Maintain inventory and update work orders in property management software.
