Job summary

CAF Management, LLC is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee daily maintenance at our apartment communities. This onsite, full-time role involves leading repairs, preventative maintenance, and service requests while mentoring a maintenance team.

You will troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues, ensuring safety and curb appeal. Strong leadership and availability for Saturdays and on-call shifts are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in multifamily or related field.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, and carpentry.
• Ability to lead a team and work independently.
• Availability to work Saturdays and participate in on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform daily maintenance operations including service requests, unit turns, and inspections.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues.
• Ensure property safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal standards.
• Order and manage parts and inventory within budget.
• Train and support Assistant Maintenance Technicians.
• Coordinate vendor work and supervise contracted repairs.
• Participate in on-call rotation and handle emergencies.
• Communicate with Property Manager to align maintenance efforts with goals.
