Job summary

JES Holdings is seeking a skilled maintenance professional to service our properties, ensuring timely completion of work orders, upkeep of common areas, and preparation for state agency and investor inspections. The role requires strong hands-on skills across drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair, with an emphasis on timely make-ready activities.

Ideal candidates will be punctual, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail, including after-hours

Qualifications

• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• EPA Certification required.
• Experience in multifamily, commercial, or hotel maintenance is preferred.
• Knowledge of REAC/INSPIRE inspections and HUD/LIHTC standards is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks including drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
• Lead make-ready processes with unit turns (painting, carpet cleaning, cleaning).
• Prepare for state agency and investor inspections.
• Prioritize and manage work orders for assigned properties.
• Ensure curb appeal and property upkeep; be available for after-hours on-call duties.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC; train staff on maintenance tasks.
