Vivmark Residential in Acton, MA is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to lead maintenance operations across our communities, diagnosing issues and performing repairs to sustain safe, comfortable apartment homes. You will oversee junior technicians and ensure timely turn-overs and preventive maintenance.

This role requires 3+ years of hands-on maintenance experience, HVAC and electrical know-how, a valid driver's license, and on-call availability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience including HVAC, plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Valid driver's license.
• HVAC (CFC certifications) required or willingness to learn.
• Ability to accommodate an on-call schedule in rotation.
• Ability to communicate with residents and team for customer service.
• Ability to read policies (Key Control, Turnover, Maintenance procedures).
• Knowledge of SDS, chemicals handling, and PPE use.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry and related systems.
• Assist with creating and organizing work orders; complete assigned repairs.
• Ensure vacant apartments and garages are rent-ready with turnkey work.
• Train and oversee Maintenance Technicians I and II.
• Conduct apartment Preventative Maintenance (PM).
• Inspect grounds and buildings daily to identify maintenance needs.
• Maintain a safe, incident-free culture per Vivmark policies.
• Perform hot works (brazing, soldering, welding) per standards.
