Job summary

Greystar seeks a skilled Service Technician to maintain and repair building systems across our properties. You will diagnose issues, complete work orders, and oversee make-ready tasks for vacant units to ensure high-quality, move-in ready spaces.

Strong focus on safety, documentation, and teamwork within a dynamic property management environment. Ideally you have EPA refrigerant certification and a valid driver’s license to operate equipment on-site.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience across building systems.
• Ability to diagnose and repair equipment to code standards.
• Good communication with residents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance per guidelines.
• Manage make-ready processes for vacant units, including inspections and punch lists.
• Track materials, supplies, and coordinate re-ordering with maintenance supervisor.
• Document service requests accurately and timely for records.
• Assist in grounds and common areas upkeep and safety compliance.
• Contribute to cost-control by repairing instead of replacing parts where feasible.
