Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to inspect, repair, and maintain indoor and outdoor community areas. You will handle work orders, perform preventive maintenance, and manage the make-ready process for vacants while upholding Greystar standards.

You will work with residents and staff, ensuring safety, quality, and timely service. A high school diploma or GED and EPA HVAC certification are required, with a valid driver’s license and strong customer service skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and related maintenance experience.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• EPA HVAC Type I/II or Universal certification.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart, if applicable.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively with residents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair maintenance requests from residents.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant apartments and move-ins.
• Set standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds and common areas.
• Inspect work by team members and contractors for quality.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies to stay within budget.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance per policy.
• Assist Community Manager with budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
• Attend safety meetings and follow OSHA guidelines.
• Provide courteous customer service to residents and stakeholders.
