Job summary

LyvWell Apartments is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the general maintenance of a multi-unit property. The role includes supervising staff, training, and coordinating repairs across mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry disciplines.

Responsibilities include evaluating contractors, obtaining bids, and ensuring quality workmanship. A High School diploma/GED and 3–4 years of relevant experience are required, with multilingual skills a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in a commercial or multi-unit property.
• Clear and effective English communication in writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff, including hiring recommendations and performance reviews.
• Repair and maintain mechanical equipment, HVAC, and plumbing.
• Perform carpentry tasks like door installation and repairs; drywall and painting as needed.
• Carry out electrical tasks: inspect lighting, wiring, and circuits; replace components.
• Handle plumbing duties: unclog sinks, fix faucets, replace pipes.
• Liaise with contractors, prepare specifications, and obtain bids.
