Job summary

LyvWell in Nashville is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead multi-unit property maintenance teams, oversee skilled trades, and manage vendors. The role covers HVAC, carpentry, electrical and plumbing tasks, with a strong focus on safety and cost-effective maintenance.

Qualified candidates will have 3–4 years in commercial property maintenance, a high school diploma or GED, and clear English communication. On-site work with full benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• This position requires a High school diploma / GED in general studies.
• 3 - 4 years of experience in commercial or multi-unit property maintenance.
• Must communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing; multilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and directs maintenance and custodial staff; hires, trains, schedules, disciplines; conducts appraisals and recommends pay changes.
• Repairs/maintains mechanical equipment including HVAC; diagnoses issues; disassembles, cleans, lubricates, repairs, replaces parts.
• Carpentry tasks: install doors, jambs, moldings, hinges, locks; drywall/paint as needed.
• Electrical work: inspect/test lighting, wiring, circuits; replace switches/lamps/ballasts.
• Plumbing: unclog sinks/toilets; repair faucets; pipes; fountains.
• Interface with contractors and vendors; prepare specs; solicit bids; negotiate.
• Conduct preventative maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.
