Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a reliable Maintenance Supervisor to keep facility equipment running efficiently and to drive maintenance best practices. This onsite role features a standard Monday–Friday schedule with occasional night and weekend overtime and on-the-job training.

The position leads preventive maintenance, troubleshoots PLCs, manages budgets with production, and ensures safety and regulatory compliance across the maintenance department.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree preferred; high school diploma accepted with relevant experience.
• Experience repairing industrial processing equipment; supervising maintenance personnel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems; inspect and test machinery and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and manage scheduling, budgeting, and parts management.
• Lead and train maintenance staff; ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
