UniFirst is seeking a reliable Maintenance Supervisor to ensure facility equipment runs efficiently and to lead maintenance staff. You will diagnose issues, implement preventive maintenance, and manage safety and regulatory compliance. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional night/weekend overtime and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Two-year technical degree preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age with valid driver's license.
• Pass UniFirst's maintenance knowledge assessment.
• Knowledgeable in wiring, electrical, mechanical components.
• Minimum of 3 years repairing industrial processing equipment.
• Minimum of 2 years supervising maintenance personnel preferred.
• Maintenance administration: planning, scheduling, budgeting, vendor/parts management.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with hand & power tools.
• Lockout / Tagout experience.
• Ability to work overtime.
• Must lift up to 80 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine corrective action.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Perform basic welding to repair facilities and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs and associated control systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on facility and production assets.
• Follow blueprints, schematics, manuals, and engineering specs with a documented schedule.
• Manage and oversee all maintenance shifts and related budgets.
• Ensure maintenance safety and regulatory compliance across the department.
