Job summary

Kingfisher Recruiting is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our Lakewood, NJ manufacturing site. The role leads a full maintenance team on a 24/7 basis, coaching mechanics, ensuring safety compliance, and driving reliability of packaging lines.

Applicants should have FDA-regulated industry experience, strong planning skills, and a track record in continuous improvement. The position supports a fast-paced production environment with cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; bachelor’s highly preferred.
• At least five years of similar maintenance supervision experience in manufacturing.
• Pharmaceutical, consumer products, food, or beverage manufacturing experience.
• Experience working in FDA regulated manufacturing environments.
• Working knowledge of PLC troubleshooting.
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Preventative maintenance programs and ticketing systems experience.
• Strong continuous improvement mindset, focused on increasing uptime and efficiencies.
• Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Coaching: Directly responsible for building a high-performing, 24/7 maintenance team in the packaging department.
• Safety & Compliance: Promotes a strong safety culture and enforces plant safety policies.
• Maintenance Planning & Operations: Coordinates and schedules maintenance resources for packaging lines; manages daily work progress.
• Continuous Improvement & KPIs: Owns safety and productivity KPIs, supports Lean principles and root cause investigations.
• Work Flexibility: Willing to work any shift and weekends to support operations.
