Job summary

H.T. Prof Executive Search is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a Lakewood, NJ manufacturing site. You will lead a 24/7 maintenance team in packaging, coach mechanics, and ensure safe, reliable operations on the factory floor.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; bachelor’s preferred.
• At least five years of maintenance supervision experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in FDA-regulated environments (pharma/food/bev).
• Working knowledge of PLC troubleshooting.
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Preventive maintenance programs and ticketing systems experience.
• Strong continuous improvement mindset to increase uptime and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 24/7 maintenance team in the packaging area.
• Coach mechanics; escalate performance issues to the Maintenance Manager.
• Promote safety culture; conduct daily field audits and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate, schedule, and assign maintenance resources for packaging lines.
• Review and sign off on work packages; validate equipment readiness.
• Drive safety and productivity KPIs; support Lean initiatives (5S, TPS).
• Adapt plans for shift coverage and weekends to maintain operations.
