Job summary

Your Talent Team in Lakewood, NJ is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our manufacturing site to lead a fully staffed maintenance team on the plant floor. You will coach mechanics, enforce safety policies, coordinate maintenance on packaging lines, and ensure work is completed on time with proper signoffs.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, root-cause investigations, and adherence to FDA-regulated production standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Five years maintenance supervision experience in manufacturing.
• Pharmaceutical, consumer products, food, or beverage manufacturing experience.
• Experience in FDA-regulated manufacturing environments.
• Working knowledge of PLC troubleshooting.
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Preventative maintenance programs and ticketing systems experience.
• Strong continuous improvement background focused on uptime and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Coaching: Build a high-performing 24/7 maintenance team in packaging; mentor mechanics and escalate performance issues.
• Safety & Compliance: Promote safety culture, enforce policies, conduct field audits, oversee safety initiatives.
• Maintenance Planning & Operations: Schedule and assign resources for packaging lines; verify work can proceed; ensure testing before return to operations.
• Continuous Improvement & KPIs: Own safety/productivity KPIs; support Lean/5S; lead root-cause investigations.
• Work Flexibility: Maintain flexibility to cover shifts and weekends.
