Job summary

Modern Machining Solutions Inc in Lakewood, NJ is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a fully staffed maintenance team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will coach mechanics, manage preventative maintenance, and drive safety and uptime on packaging lines.

The role requires FDA-regulated manufacturing experience, a strong continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to work flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree is required; bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
• At least five years of maintenance supervision experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in FDA regulated environments (pharma, consumer products, food/beverage).
• Working knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs and ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 24/7 maintenance team in the packaging department.
• Promote safety culture and enforce plant safety policies.
• Coordinate maintenance resources and schedule work on lines.
• Own safety and productivity KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain flexibility to cover shifts and weekends as needed.
