Job summary

Valiant Residential in Dallas is seeking a Lead Maintenance to oversee all property maintenance under the Community Manager. You will perform repairs in resident apartments, conduct make-ready, and supervise subcontractors to ensure timely, quality work.

The role requires at least two years in apartment maintenance, strong English communication, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license. We offer competitive pay and benefits, including health insurance options and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years in apartment maintenance or a trade with basic electricity/plumbing/carpentry/painting/HVAC knowledge.
• Strong verbal and written English communication; bilingual Spanish a plus.
• EPA (refrigerant, transition, and recovery) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests within 24 hours.
• Assist in distribution of flyers and materials.
• Replace filters and clean HVAC vents; maintain sprinklers.
• Perform HVAC repairs as needed; light electrical and plumbing work.
• Refurbish apartments prior to resident occupancy (make-ready).
• Supervise subcontractors and coordinate with vendors.
• Maintain records of work orders, inventory, and safety inspections.
