Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Lead Maintenance professional to oversee property maintenance under the Community Manager. Responsibilities include repairs in resident apartments, make-ready tasks, and supervising subcontractors to ensure timely, quality work.

The role requires a minimum two years of experience, EPA refrigeration certification, and a valid driver’s license. The position is on-site in Richardson, TX, offering competitive compensation, health insurance options, and 401(k)

Qualifications

• Two years of full-time apartment maintenance experience.
• Strong basic knowledge in electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC.
• EPA refrigerant certification is required.
• Own a basic set of hand tools and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests within 24 hours.
• Make-ready and refurbish units prior to resident occupancy.
• Perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry repairs as needed.
• Maintain sprinklers, pool chemistry, and general property upkeep.
• Supervise subcontractors and coordinate with the Community Manager.
• Keep records of PMs, work orders, and inventories.
• On-call coverage for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
