Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Lead Maintenance to oversee the overall maintenance of the property under the direction of the Community Manager. You will perform repairs in resident apartments, assist in preparing units for rent (make-ready), and supervise subcontractors to ensure timely, quality work.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of apartment maintenance experience, English communication skills, EPA certification, and own basic hand tools.

Qualifications

• Must have strong English communication skills to interact with team members, residents, vendors.
• Minimum two years of full-time apartment maintenance or related trade experience.
• EPA refrigerant, transition, and recovery certification.
• Own a basic set of hand tools and a valid driver’s license.
• Technical certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests within 24 hours.
• Perform HVAC repairs and light electrical/plumbing tasks.
• Replace filters and maintain HVAC vents and sprinkler systems.
• Perform light carpentry, painting, and floor refinishing as needed.
• Assist in make-ready preparations for new residents.
