Job summary

Valiant Residential in Richardson, TX is seeking a Lead Maintenance to oversee property maintenance, perform repairs in resident units, and assist in make-ready before occupancy.

You will supervise subcontractors, conduct preventive maintenance, manage records, and ensure safety. Requirements include 2 years of experience, English communication, EPA certification, tools, and a valid license, with travel ability.

Qualifications

• Two years of full-time experience in apartment maintenance or related trade.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• EPA refrigerant certification (or equivalent).
• Own a basic set of hand tools.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests within 24 hours.
• Replace filters and service HVAC as needed.
• Perform lighting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks.
• Inspect and repair plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Oversee subcontractors and coordinate with vendors.
• Make-ready vacant units prior to occupancy.
• Maintain records of preventive maintenance and work orders.
